AKD continuously invests in the modernization and digitalization of its production processes. Within the Metal Technology Department, numerous development and investment projects have been implemented to ensure greater efficiency, security, and technological excellence in the production of license plates. By modernizing equipment and introducing advanced automated systems, nearly complete robotization of key stages of production has been achieved.
One of the technological advancements is the line for automatic packaging of finished license plates, which completely replaced the previous manual process. The system is fully automated and equipped with the latest generation of control software, robotic arms, automatic feeders and unloaders, as well as systems for inserting plates into PVC bags, stacking and closing boxes, labeling, and optical product control (OCR) at all stages of packaging.
The system is fully integrated with AKD's IT system for production management, which automatically transfers information about work orders, orders, and customers. This has virtually eliminated manual labor and reduced the possibility of errors, while all activities are recorded in a supervisory application that allows detailed analysis of each step in the process.
