AKD has established SEOP — the System for the Registration of Users of Preferential Transport, the Approval of Rights for Preferential Transport, and the Monitoring of Usage and Benefits. The system is based on public information infrastructure. Over the years, it has been expanded to record all transport users in public line maritime transport. The coordinated cooperation of all SEOP participants takes place in real-time, using modern information technologies, especially web services and smart cards. SEOP operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, monitoring more than 70 different ferry lines and 110 ports, and contains passenger records. SEOP is also an innovative solution for the one-stop-shop paradigm and interoperability, complementing the requirements of the European Interoperability Framework.
