AKD holds the Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility (TCCF) certificate for the newly built AKD Data Center in Sveta Nedelja.
This certificate confirms the compliance of the constructed facility with the approved and previously certified design, which was confirmed by the Uptime Institute on January 2, 2024, with the award of the Tier III Certification of Design Documents (TCDD).
The significance of this achievement for the Republic of Croatia is highlighted by the fact that AKD is the first state-owned company to receive the Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility certificate.

The certification issued by the Uptime Institute, including Tier III TCCF, is based on rigorous technical criteria and detailed testing conducted at the AKD Data Center location from October 7 to October 10, 2025.
The publicly available list of certified data centers serves as a reference point for the global industry, enabling transparency and comparability between facilities worldwide, and encouraging the adoption of best practices in design, security, and infrastructure maintenance.
The Uptime Tier III standard defines technical criteria and design requirements that encompass principles of redundancy, high availability, maintenance without interruption, and fault tolerance. This standard ensures exceptional reliability of the data center, with an availability rate of 99.982%, guaranteeing stable and continuous operation of critical systems.
