Common Criteria EAL4+

AKD eID Card 1.0 is a product certified by BSI in accordance with Common Criteria EAL4+. It can generate internal or external keys for signing and communicate securely with external applications. It is suitable for creating qualified electronic signatures (QES) and for storing qualified certificates (SSCD) compliant with Directive 1999/93/EC and applicable legislation.

The AKD e-ID card represents an important element in the implementation of e-Government projects, whether related to a national e-ID identity card or projects in e-Administration, e-Health, e-Transport, and e-Voting, as well as in the corporate and business sector (e-Business and e-Banking). These are projects that require a high level of secure authentication and communication between citizens and online services.
