AKD has successfully completed the certification cycle according to the PCI CPP standard, which sets high requirements for logical and physical security for manufacturers and personalization centers of EMV cards, as well as the production and personalization of PIN mailers. This means that we have demonstrated to independent auditors that our business processes comply with all the security standards required for certified production.

The new certificate, valid until April 30, 2023, confirms that AKD is authorized for certified data preparation and personalization of EMV banking cards for Mastercard, Maestro, and Cirrus Branded Cards, making it a reliable and trusted partner for the banking sector. Specifically, MasterCard International mandates a special approach to materials and specifications, as well as adherence to security, financial, and contractual requirements. The certificate pertains to the production processes of preparing EMV data and personalization services, including chip personalization, embossing, indent or laser printing on cards, and encoding the magnetic stripe.

Over the years, AKD has gained significant technical expertise in creating card profiles, developing personalization scripts, and managing the development of new card products. This is best reflected in the constant increase in the number of clients using AKD's EMV personalization services.
